    The best part of two grand is a lot of anyone's money, especially considering the spec you can get for it on a plasma of roughly equivalent dimensions. Still, the 40W2000 goes a long way towards justifying its price tag with irresistible styling, a smorgasbord of features and solid, all-round performance. Not an outright winner, then, but definitely an interesting contender. Read more

In the past, I was very unimpressed with Sony's achievements in the thin panel arena.     The 'W' in Sony's KDL-40W2000 indicates that it is one step below the flagship 'X' series of Bravia LCD TVs. As such it does not have the advanced EX Bravia Engine of the 'X' but gains a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 over the 'V' series. Read more

    I have owned this TV for a couple months now and I am really impressed with the quality of this model. Although it can be confusing trying to figure out which model to go for, after i finally made a decision and paid the money I was overall very happy with my decision. The this model is excellent value for money as it supports Full HD and has adequate connections on it for my needs. Read more

    I've recently purchased this Sony Bravia after reading loads of reviews and also watching the ones owned by my friends - this TV is the best I've ever seen and certainly lives up to all my expectations. The colour is simply stunning, the sound is also great and it's easy to set up. Highly recommended - buy one!! Read more
