Summary: I bought a Sony KDL-40R450A 40 inch LED HDTV but after many hours trying to tweak the picture I finally gave up and returned it. It had an unacceptable clear (albeit faint) outline around most images. The "fine print" at the bottom of ads was blurry and unreadable but the worst was football games. When there was a close-up of the players the picture actually looked pretty good. Colors are this TV's strong suit.
Summary: First tv had dead pixels on the display...returned to Sony. Replacement tv had a bezel that would not stay closed on top of cabinet and it was a 'recertified' tv as opposed to a new replacement. I still have not received the replacement tv Sony promised.
Cons: quality is not what I've come to expect frm Sony
Summary: As with atleast one other purchaser, I was led to believe this TV had a built-in FM receiver, and had 120hz refresh rate. That listing has since been removed. The TV is fine, no complaints with it. Amazon misrepresented this product, now I'm stuck with it.
