Summary: Last year I purchased two of these Sony televisions. One in June and one in July. The one purchased in June began to arbitrarily turn itself off in the middle of a program or even while I was watching a taped program. After much discussion with Amazon and finally getting Sony to come out, it appeared to have been fixed. This month, a year after the original problem, it is doing it again and I am pretty disgusted.
Summary: This television is a massive disappointment. It failed after less than 5 months. In the last six weeks they have sent parts twice and failed to correct the problem. Now they want to send us a "refurbished" TV. I've bought many Sony products over the years, but will never buy another one. I pray you never need to get involved with their customer "service" organization.
