Summary: Great picture - great sound (thought i might consider a small front speaker facing system though but not neccessary). Energy efficient 18 bucks for 12 months? Can't beat that. The internet connection works well. Not much of a learning curve. Has another USB port to handle your music, pics and video.
Summary: I just finished reading all of the reviews for Sony Bravia TV's and I have a couple comments. For the money you aren't going to find a better TV out of the box if you are smart enough to turn it on and make a few very simple adjustments.
Summary: The picture quality on this set is simply astonishing. I thought the KDL40V4100 was great with SD imagery, this thing blows it away, and that's not even mentioning what it does with HD imagery! It often looks like I could almost step into the picture!
Summary: Remarkable, outstanding picture, simple set up, perfect size for our room. Sound is good, with many ways to tailor it to your taste and needs including a "clear voice" setting and a "steady sound" feature to minimize changes in volume between programs and commercials, which are often louder.
Summary: We were looking for a TV that met a few important criteria and the Sony brand hit all the major specifications. We wanted a 40" screen, a smart TV format, excellent picture quality and size of whole TV. Speakers are not as good as I would have liked.
Summary: Received this HDTV today and after easy setup watched Terminator 2. The picture was crystal clear with no motion blur. Received a free blu-ray player as an added bonus. This TV was selling for $1600 by all the stores I looked up. An extra $300 gets you 240Hz refresh rate vs 120Hz.
Summary: I compared this Sony BRAVIA 40 Inch with all other brands with comparable features. Sony has the best picture and I love the BRAVIA Sync that recognizes my Sony receiver and Sony Blu-Ray player. It is well worth the price.
