Summary: I bought this TV for relatively cheap. And while I did get it for cheap, I am not impressed with the TV and would recommend others to stay away. There are some major issues with this TV that directly impact viewing pleasure. Pros: -Decent to Good quality HD picture. Cons: - Smaller number of inputs. Two HDMI and two component are not enough.
Summary: i am now super worried now i m thoroughly reading these reviews and have just ordered this TV!! i was so excited to receive the product and now i feel teary eyed...i never expected this much negative reviews on a sony...
Summary: I have always relied on the Sony name for the quality of their products. I replaced my CRT television with this model from a friend who bought it when it came out for a guest bedroom and it did not get used much at all. I was baffled with the pixellation of the display quaility at first. I do not have cable/satellite but the HD broadcast quaility is great even with regular "bunny ears.
Summary: It is the best buy I have been able to find on tv, newspaper ads, catalogs, the net, whatever and the saving is substantial. There were units less expensive, but were lacking in quality features, I wanted!
Summary: I bought the LCD SONY three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a GOOD IMAGINE. The LCD size is perfect for carrying in a ROOM. My only complaint is that the menu system on the TV makes you click four times before you can find someone in the address book, set an alarm, or perform a additional functions. Other LCD I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily.
Summary: I bought this TV in October 2008.It was shipped to me, in south Florida, from California and out of the box the picture and sound were great. I have Dish Network HD service and the receiver to the TV connection is HDMI.I also have a VCR\DVD combo unit connected using component cables.
Summary: I purchased this elsewhere for $600. At the time you couldn't get a 37" LCD for that price. I trusted the Sony name based on my own personal experience with a variety of their products, but I am very disappointed with this set. The image quality is sub-par. As many of the other reviews state, it looks like a pixelated mess. Fortunately this is a secondary TV that is in the bedroom, and viewed from enough of a distance that its watchable. I would not recommend this set.
Summary: I bought this TV relying on the name "Sony" and for the price, but it's an old saying, you get what you pay for, even for a Sony. Although no comparison to an XBR, this TV is worst than my Westinghouse in my bedroom. The Colors are weak and details are lacking. There is a fuzzy look to the picture despite playing around with the settings. I should've spent more money and gotten a higher end model rather than this one.
Summary: Our Bravia arrived prompty. It was fairly easy to assemble and to connect, but when turned on, the set up screen did not appear. We called the Sony helpline to describe the problem and were told something was wrong with the screen. Sony sent us a new one (it arrived in three days) and a label to return the damaged one. The replacement was packed differently from the original and did not have to be assembled.
