  • Conclusion: For a mid-entry television, the Sony KDL-32HX753 does itself justice, but with less than stellar picture quality and sound compared to the best, don’t expect it to blow you away.
  • Pros: If you’re picking up any new TV, you’ll need a decent set of connections. The Sony KDL-32HX753 doesn’t disappoint with its four HDMI ports to work with other compatible HD devices such as Blu-ray players and games consoles, letting you watch films, or play games in full HD.   • Cons: One of the true litmus tests of any high-end TV kit is its ability to convey sharp shades of black. Here the Sony KDL-32HX753 loses points, with blacks occasionally looking a little grey from time to time. Tinkering with the settings does improve things somewhat, but when it comes to blacks, the KDL-32HX753 could do better.
