Summary: Replaced our old Sony XBR CRT. This unit is bright, crisp, clear picture - works with our old sony TV remotes as an added bonus. Doesn't weigh much so it made it a breeze for me to mount in our bedroom using: VideoSecu TV Wall Mount for Most 32"- 55" LCD LED Plasma Articulating TV mount, Full Motion Dual Arm Bracket with free HDMI cable MW360B 1SR I love having the built in Netflix on the TV (warning - you have to have a physical ethernet rj-45 connector as far as I can...
Summary: Although this is a very nice TV and has many features I found the viewing angle to be critical for maximum contrast and brightness. The picture gets a washed out grayish hue when viewed even slightly off angle... It's also slow when trying to change the channel at start up. I think it's caused by the loading of the guide feature (which is very nice) Other than that, It's a great TV !
Summary: 1. Poor visibility / view angle 2. wi-fi ready means you need to buy Sony Wifi dongle 3. Channel surfing is slow 4. Entering titles in applications (e.g. youtube) is difficult, texting should have been like cell phone atleast!
Summary: As another reviewer mentioned (and I wish I had noticed this before we made the purchase!), if you are looking at the TV straight on, the picture is fine. However, if you take even a small step left or right, the picture becomes very washed out. Any further steps to the side, or sitting on the floor, and it is essentially unwatchable -- especially at that price! Unfortunately, we returned it.
Summary: I used this as a monitor for my pc until my LCD arrived and the image quality was very good even when you look close to the TV. It does have a small problem with viewing angles but I do not find this a big issue. I am watching TV alone so I have the sweet spot.
Summary: It's great TV. I brought it last month. It has fantastic features. I am able to connect the internet and watch the movies directly in the TV. Also it has cool features like you tube, Netflix's, Amazon direct HD streaming.
Summary: I expected alot more from Sony. The features are nice, like the internet access, and power saving features, but when it comes to a Sony I expect the best picture quality, and that is where this one falls flat. The side viewing angle is terrible, and the color settings are insufficient to create a warm realistic picture. I expected a very rich and crisp image from such a small size set, but that is not the case.
Summary: The picture quality on this TV is excellent. The features are great. The only problem that I had with this TV is the Viewing Angle. When you are exactly in front on the TV the picture quality is excellent. Move to the left or to the right and picture looks washed out. I couldn't believe that the picture quality deteriorated that much. I eventually return the TV.
Summary: I needed a 32" TV to fit inside a cabinet; this one fit nicely due to the reduced width of the screen due to the LED backlight. Assembly was easy once you realize that a little force is needed to attach the plastic mount covers which attach on the mounting post. I read reviews of the viewing angle reductions and do not notice much of a difference in my setup though it is noticeable about 50 degrees off-center. Set up was easy, take about 30 minutes to scan channels.
