Summary: I purchased the Sony Bravia last year at Christmas. Two weeks after the one year warrenty expired my LCD went out in the TV. Sony would do nothing. They don't think their products should last longer than a year and they don't.Sony told me it would cost $700.00 to fix a $450.00 TV that they expected me to pay for. Do not buy a Sony. Customer service is a joke.
Summary: Replaced a great SONY Trinitron we had for 12 years without any problems. Zero. 2 months after buying this thing, the sensor stopped working. No volume control, on /off ng, no mute. Luckily i bought the warranty so we will be without a TV for at least a couple of weeks. The part has been ordered from CHINA and when they get it we can schedule an appointment for the installation. Another colossal rip off. Everybody gets paid and we get screwed.
