Summary: Absolutely beautiful TV. Worked great for three years, now it is dead. Red LED blinks four times, apparently indicates bad local dimming board. These are not available. No support from Sony. The web site just goes in loops. Web site shows no repair facility within 75 miles of my home.
Initially pleased, but $1500 for 3 years is a ripoff.

Summary: 4 red LED blink failure after 3 years hanging on our wall. Sony support is horrible; it's out of warranty and the nearest 3rd party service center isn't even in my state! I was happy with the TV until it failed, but I'm not going to spend hundreds of dollars to replace the faulty board/boards.
Summary: I have owned this TV since 2/12 and I have to say I am still amazed and happy with the PQ. It is hard to believe that people had problems with this set. I just think they have had bad luck and/or are getting sent used TV especially since they do not make this set anymore since it came out in 2011.
Summary: I got a KDL-60NX720 Sony TV. It is only 2 years old. We paid $3300 for it now and it's just out of warranty. We called an Authorized Sony Repair person (per Sony's request) and after $85, they said it would cost $3000 to fix it.
Summary: This is a high quality TV with a great picture and lots of extras! My kids use Netflix all the time and I have used Amazon Instant both are installed. I haven't used the 3D function yet due to the price of the glasses.
Easy to use, great quality tv with integrated web apps.

Summary: Overall the image quailty, ease of use, available video and audio connections and the included software applications make this tv a great buy. I couldn't be happier. Most requently used applications on the tv are: netflix, hulu, amazon streaming player.
