Summary: I had this TV for more that a week. It was a good expirience at first but yesterday we notice that the image was decaying. Double image that appear to be gosthy. Called customer support and still have not received any message from them. Yes I know I wasted my money. This TV is so defective that you'll want to just throw it away and NEVER buy another sony product. This is so fustrating. Saving your money to buy something that never should reach to market.

Summary: I have been a faithful Sony customer for over 30 years and, up until the last few years, was convinced that they produced the finest electronics equipment on the planet. But my opinion has changed drastically in the last few years due to a series of failures of their TV's, and now it will be a long time before I ever buy anything from Sony again.
Summary: This product is fine. This is a review to warn others to not buy a television through Amazon. You would be better off buying it at a retailer which had it at the same price. UPS will drop it off right in front of your home whether you are there are not. I had to drive 13 miles to pick it up. Amazon offered 24 month free financing through an Amazon store card which is not the same thing as a their credit card. Calling customer service is a waste of time. What a scam.
Summary: I was shocked at how bad the audio was coming out of this panel. It sounded like the speakers were tiny little things buried in the center of the tv. I did read in the manual that it has "rear facing speakers" and was a little concerned. We wanted this as a secondary TV in a room where we don't want a huge sound system. That makes this unit a fail for us. If you don't have a sound system than definitely take a pass on this one. We are returning it to Amazon.
Summary: Received this 46" Sony Bravia for Xmas, after setting up and doing start-up, we found that after the one second appearance of the Sony logo, the screen went black, but there was sound. We noted that when a bright light was shining on the screen, one could see a faint picture, so we concluded that the backlight was not functioning. We called Sony Support (after hours) and got a response and the technical person on the line did a troubleshoot with us.
Summary: I purchased this TV 8/5/2011, it was shipped 8/11/2011 by 8/15/2011 I had to call Sony as a red vertical line appeared about a third of the way in from the left side of the TV. They gave me 2 repair places, neither would service my TV; well one number had been disconnected, so had I been given the correct number maybe they would have. I called Sony back, they gave me another 2 phone numbers.
Summary: We purchased our Sony Bravia 48" flat screen TV for Christmas 2009. It is now Thanksgiving of 2011 and we are having major problems with the screen! Contacted the place that we purchased the TV and had a repairman come out. Their is a part that needs to be order ~ cost $500+ and it is NOT GUARANTEED to fix the problem! When we contacted Sony - they knew of the problem that we were having, but since it was no longer under warranty there was nothing they could do!
Summary: My brand new Sony KDL46BX420 is about 10 hours old and after 48 minutes on the phone with a clueless Sony "technician", it has been declared officially "in need of repair." It has not worked for a single minute. Will Sony replace it? No. Will Sony send a repairman? (Are there still TV repairmen?) No. Sony will give me a telephone number. I am supposed to call, set up an appointment and, if I'm lucky, just take a single day off work waiting and praying for him to show up.
