The Sony KDL-40Z4500 features Sony’s Motion flow 200Hz technology with image blur reduction that enables you to see fast-moving images with life-like smoothness without missing a single detail. It enables user to watch TV, movies and games in high definition detail provided by 6.2-megapixels resolution. Besides that, it also incorporates BRAVIA Engine 2 technology and Advanced Contrast Enhancer that provides for incredibly clear and defined images, plus the 24p True Cinema allows you to watch films as it is shown in movies. In addition, via BRAVIA Sync, user can control the entire home cinema set-up with the available TV remote control and accessing menus on compatible device such as Handycam camcorder. It also includes a digital picture frame with Picture Frame Mode, Theatre Mode, PhotoTV HD, USB Photo Viewer, Photo Map and three HDMI inputs (two on rear, one on side, all with CEC). In terms of sound features, it incorporates digital surround sound (Dolby® Digital and Dolby® Digital Plus) from only two front speakers (total power output of 18W and woofer 12W) along with an advanced S-Force Front Surround technology. Besides that, user can enjoy music and photo content from computer on the TV with its DLNA home networking technology. It measures in at 100.5cm (width), 70.5cm (height), 27.9cm (depth) with table stand and 100.5cm (width), 66.6cm (height), 12.8cm (depth) without table stand, plus it weights in at 25.5kg including stand and 22kg without stand. Other feature includes remote control, parental lock, programme memory with up to 1000 number of stations to store, multi menu languages, Fastext to access Ceefax and Teletext information services, backlight plus Picture in Picture function. Its tuning features an analogue and Digital Terrestrial Tuner (MPEG-2), favourite channels, auto labelling and auto start up/tuning. It also comes with channel coverage CATV, channel coverage HYPER, channel coverage UHF, Channel Coverage VHF, channel skip and station labelling.

Short of the new LED backlight models that seem destined to dominate high-end LCD TV performance over the next few years, the Sony Bravia KDL40Z4500 LCD TV offers about the best performance presently available. The 200Hz capability is important primarily in the way that it allows the picture-smoothing processing to proceed entirely in a picture-improving, rather than artefact-introducing, mode. Read more
Although the 200Hz does not entirely convince, the KDL-40Z4500 is actually an excellent LCD TV in all areas. Are only concern is the relatively high price. Read more

Believe the hype; 200hz is worth the money! I've had a gift voucher for Comet for a long time now and I've been studying all types of TV's most weekends. Short version...... Absolutely stunning TV. Picture quality - Outstanding Inbuilt Speakers - Excellect Setup - so so easy Works great with with my other Sony products - one remote controls all my Sony kit, one button also turns it all off.
