Excerpt: I sold all of my TV sets when I left Botswana. Now, I need to buy one here in Brussels to have a form of entertainment apart from the radio. It always seems like something is missing when there is no TV in the house.
Summary: Bought a $4000 Sony TV 5 years ago. It died and was deemed unrepairable after 3 1/2 years . Sony offered a replacement TV for $350 bucks ( a $1000 TV) although a big downgrade, I was satisfied. This TV just died short of 2 years old and they no longer carry the parts to fix it. 2 YEARS OLD AND THEY DON'T CARRY THE REPLACEMENT PARTS! They again offered me a refurbished replacement tv at $679 & tax. I checked and this TV sells NEW at Best buy for 799.
Pros: Nice Picture, Super Thin
Cons: Internet freezes, Video Streaming never worked good even with a wired 100mb connection. The TV restarts every 5 mins. They no longer stock the parts needed to fix it.
Summary: After years and years of waiting for prices to drop on Sony Bravia tv's, I bumped into a sale for several of these within my price range. I read all the reviews for the list of Bravia's I was looking at, and the main problem people had with this tv was that for the first 1 minute of turning the tv on you can't use the remote to tell the tv to do anything .. like change the channel or the volume or whatever.
Summary: Sony Bravia should be named Sony Bravo. The picture is really excellent. The set up is really easy. The sound is outstanding. I'm really amazed with the speed of the Internet streaming and Internet Videos. This is one of the best purchases i have ever made. I would recommend this to a friend. drawbacks: 1.It cannot serve you food. 2.It cannot hurt you. 3.It cannot make you sad. JUST BUY THIS PRODUCT. THAT'S ALL.
Summary: I bought a brand new Sony Bravia thinking this was the top of the line TV, and boy, was I wrong. Unfortunately, the screen is black lit and doesn't work at all. Even though you can hear the sound, the screen is still completely pitch black. Even if you call up the TV menu and settings, the TV is completely black. I thought it was safe to throw away the box but now that I have a defective TV after using it for 5 days. Now I have to deal with getting it serviced and no TV.
Summary: Sony has always been a pretty "go-to brand", but lately, it has been pretty sub-par to the rest. Not only are they expensive, but don't offer the quality that say a Sharp or Samsung may offer. I've had this TV about 2 months now and it is AWESOME! You may be skeptical to buy a Sony, as was I, but this TV was a steal. I got it after I bought and returned 2 Vizio Razor LED M420NVs. They both the same problem, bright spots during black screen.
Summary: thank you for the tv i was thinking is that same the device which i want . when i got it and it is that one which i want thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaank you
Summary: Sony is known for the quality of their screens. This model does not disappoint. Colors are vibrant, but not oversaturated like some brands. The image clarity is exactly what you'd expect from a quality HD set. While the TV already connected to many popular online video, music, and photo services when I bought it, I was especially pleased that Sony pushed out an update which provided Hulu Plus support.
