Features

The KDL-40EX700 is a Full HD 1080p Resolution HDTV that is compatible with a Blu-ray Disc™ Player or PlayStation®3 gaming console and supports 16:9 wide screen panel (1920 x 1080) aspect ratio. The HDTV features Motionflow™ 120Hz Technology which doubles the frame rate from the standard 60 frames per second and applies Image Blur Reduction technology to deliver realistic viewing experience during fast-action scenes. It also features a USB input that allows users to view home videos or photos on the big screen or listen to favorite music by connecting a digital camera, USB-enabled MP3 player, or USB storage device directly to the HDTV. Other features on the KDL-40EX700 includes BRAVIA® Internet Video to stream movies, TV episodes, videos and music from Netflix®, YouTube™ or Slacker® directly to the HDTV; LightSensor™ Technology which automatically increase or decrease the level of brightness of the TV's backlight based on a room's lighting conditions; Energy Saving Switch which eliminates standby power consumption without the need to unplug the TV; Ambient Sensor which automatically adjusts the picture color based on a room's lighting and Presence Sensor which turns the picture off when no one is in the room, leaving only the audio on. After 30 minutes of no motion the TV automatically goes into stand-by mode.
