Summary: Everyone wants to sell you a virtual cinema screen TV. 22 inches is just fine. This was bought for the kitchen and works well. It was inexpensive and a good buy by Consumer Reports. It is not a 1080 screen, Oh Well! It's a small screen you don't need that many DPI with a small screen. Having grown up with the first TVs this is great. It is not rated as highly as the 32 inch and above screens. But considering that most High Definition programming is the News.
Summary: I had been looking for a 22 inch tv for my rv for some time. At first I purchased a Samsung 5003 but the color was way off and after a few service calls to Samsung, I ended up returning it to the store. Samsung was of no help. The setup for this Sony couldn't have been easier. I selected the home setting then adjusted the tint slightly and the result is great! I don't have the sound issues that others seem to have.
Summary: This is a very good TV with a nice picture. Easy setup and easy to use. The only drawback is the viewing angle from below. I have it mounted above a desk and when you are seated close to the set and looking up there is definite washout of the picture. If you are back further or with a more direct angle it looks very good..
Summary: Has some positives, such as sound, quick channel change, easy to set up, but some negatives. It's 720 gives a very mediocre picture, quality of the picture can vary depending on the channel and type program. It isn't good for fast action programs; can see "drag" time for fast movement. Is adequate for small room, such as a small kitchen. Have had great expereince with the longevity of Sony TV products. They last for years and rarely give any problems.
Summary: This replaced a tube TV in a dining room. The old TV had still been working well so I had something to quickly compare the new TV to and, for a few weeks, I was not able to be fully satisfied with the new image. It is incredibly sharp and shows very fine details (when broadcast). Colors are gorgeous and very vivid. Sometimes overly so and I adjusted the color down slightly for something closer to the colors I am accustomed to.
