Sharp LC-42 XD1E Review

  • Excerpt: I spent a long time researching before purchasing this TV and can honestly say I have no regrets whatsoever. The picture is fantastic (used for HDTV/PS3 + Blu Ray and even a Nintendo WII) especially in full 1080p resolution. The number of HDMI sockets may potentially cause issues in the future but for now 2 is fine. The built in digital freeview is a welcome bonus (but most people that are willing to buy a 42" TV will have some sort of tv provider anyway).
  • Pros: Excellent picture quality and value
  • Cons: Sound depth not amazing but as good as any I ve seen

This is the LCD of 2007!!

  • Excerpt: This is the pinnacle of LCD TV’s, yet it is one of the lowest priced on the market considering what the TV has to offer! Sharp are now using 8th Generation LCD production at their new factory, so this increases the efficiency, meaning lower consumer prices. The TV itself is future proof with its 1080P capabilities, accepting signals from the new HD DVD’s, BluRay, PlayStation 3, XBOX 360, SKY HD and soon to be all TV nationwide.
  • Pros: Excellent Response Rate   -   Perfect Picture   -   Perfect Price
  • Cons: Not as well marketed as other brands

  • Excerpt: Today I would like to show case to you all my LCD TV which I bought for my partner as he loves all his modern up to date gadgets and this was something you didn't have yet. I spent ages talking to sales staff in the shop's and eventually after finding a particularly helpful member of staff in Dixon's I bought the Sharp 42" TV and they even loaded it into the back of my car for me luckily I have an estate as I would have had no chance in a standard sized car.
  • Pros: Great Viewing
  • Cons: No Widescreen

SHARP lc 42xd1e
