Summary: While a bit pricey considering the cost of others in this particular market segment, it is quite well made and has an outstanding picture! Controls on both the set and the remote are reasonable. From opening the box to fully connected (antenna & blu-ray player) and operating was about 15 minutes (plus another 10 to read the manual to figure out some of the features ;-}) While I gave it 3 stars for sound quality, this is a problem with almost all sets and can be improved...
Summary: Used in living room with cable box (HDMI), Blu-ray/VCR combo (HDMI), home-theater PC (HDMI), and receiver/amp (RCA-out). Great variety of connections and ability to custom tag for reference when switching input. Easy setup, bright picture, no bad pixels, however some glare with strong backlight. Sound is good/clear given 10W speakers.[...
Pros: Good Connection Options, Great Picture Quality
Summary: The only thing that I have been unimpressed with, and this may not be the television's fault, is that I cannot get the Dish Network remote to be able to scroll through the list of inputs, so, if I have, as I do, the dvd player, and the Playstation hooked into different inputs, I still need to have the television remote available to switch between them.
Pros: Attractive Design, Fast Setup, Good Connection Options, Good Remote Control, Good Resolution, Great Picture Quality, Reduced Glare
Summary: I'll start out by saying that I've only had this TV a few days. I will also say that I could be wrong about the possible options for changing what I dislike about this TV, or in my description of what causes it- but in my research so far I haven't found any reason to believe so. I'm always interested in hearing more information if I don't have the full picture though. All that said- I personally just don't like this set so much.
Summary: Television has a good picture, The television is lightweight, I really like LED's I think that they are the wave of the future. Gives you a great picture with energy eficiency. The down fall to this television is the sound. If they improve on that then they will really have a winner. Waiting on the price to go down some.
Pros: Attractive Design, Good Connection Options, Good Remote Control, Good Resolution
Summary: We had a service rep from Sharp come out to look at the tv because the picture was so dark. He changed the display settings but otherwise said there was nothing that he could do. So I was curious what the electronic big box store had there displays set on. Basically the same thing: BACKLIGHT +14, CONTRAST +30, BRIGHTNESS 0, TINT 0, SHARPNESS +10.
Summary: I was in desperate need of a 1080p 32" HDTV that would fit into the existing entertainment cabinet in my living room, which is exactly 31" wide. You'd be amazed at how difficult it is to find a 32" LCD that meets that requirement. Most are around 31.5", which is very close but just wouldn't fit. Long story short: The set has gorgeous picture quality. No complaints at all about that. Unfortunately, the speakers are extremely tinny and just plain awful.
Summary: This TV makes an amazing computer monitor. I have both this and my Samsung 46" LCD hooked up to my computer in clone mode and the picture quality isn't even close--this TV blows the Samsung away! The only gripe I have is that the sound doesn't seem to work...
Pros: Attractive Design, Bright Image, Color Quality, Fast Setup, Good Connection Options, Good Resolution, Reduced Glare, Simple Controls
