Large picture Bonanza

  • Summary: Wonderful picture and color. Would recommend 240 hertz for faster action. Get a little soap opera on some shows, but ca be controlled with settings. Sound is adequate but not special.

80" of awesome!

  • Summary: This tv is massive and full of awesome. This particular unit was either a refurb or a return with light cosmetic damage but I have yet to find anything wrong with it. It even came already set up most likely due to the fact that it was previously owned. No real complaints here!

Dies after two years, but was a great picture.

  • Summary: Had this TV for two years. Excellent pictures, great product. Died after two years, the board was replaced and the power supply was replaced still not working. Lucky I had the extended warranty so I was credited the full purchase price towards a new TV.

Screen is huge, picture is clear, but already have had problems with the pixels twice within 5 months of purchase

  • Summary: I bought this on cyber Monday and already I have had to have it replaced, as within the first 5 months a long green line appeared right in the middle of the screen! Upon replacing it the delivery guys and I noticed that upon arrival two pixels were already dead on the screen.

For some things, size does matter

N.Hugo, Amazon

  • Summary: Once you go with a large TV, it's hard to go back to a smaller unit! This thing is HUGE. With viewing distances under 10 ft., 80 inches may be overkill. DirecTV/cable broadcasts that are heavily compressed do not look that great on the TV due to the artifacts, especially when seen up close.
