  • Summary: While we recommend the 80-inch screen size in this series, smaller screen sizes suffer from stiffer competition, notably from Vizio E-Series sets such as the 60-inch Vizio E600i-B3 (Est. $800), 65-inch Vizio E650i-B2 (Est. $1,100) and the 70-inch Vizio E700i-B3 (Est. $1,500). Most critics say that these TVs have redefined the term entry level with their top shelf performance and rock-bottom pricing.
  • Pros: Good smart TV platform, Live online help, Good value among big screen TVs
  • Cons: No 3D, "Entry-level" picture quality

  • Conclusion: Sharp's Aquos LE650U series offers reasonably priced LED-backlit HDTV with a generous feature set and an overall sharp picture. Color accuracy and viewing angle performance could be better, though.
  • Pros: Affordable. Bright picture. Solid feature set.
  • Cons: Colors aren't accurate. Low contrast ratio. Off-angle viewing causes color shifting.
