Summary: My girl friend bought a 70 inch led tv after 12 months the screen was shot. They told me it was under warrenty now they said it's not the Tech over the phone told me to throw it out. It looks great when it works but it won't last. By a sony or a samsung.
Summary: We purchased the 70 in Sharp Aquos and we are now on our second one in less than 3 months. Two hours after the large electronics store ....yep, Best Buy, installed it I was calling them back. The TV volume goes off and then the TV shuts itself off and then comes back on. They have been out numerous times and have replaced both boards and ended up breaking it and had to replace the TV. I waited a week and half for the replacement and it does the same thing.
Summary: I've been a Sharp TV owner for over 10 tens and I recently upgraded to the 80 flat screen. I purchased the LC70LE745U and it has the usually great Sharp picture but the sound quality is horrible. Making matters worse, the TY is not compatible with my Bose surround sound system powered by my Sony receiver due to HDMI copyright issues. I've contacted Sharp over 10 times to attempt to fix the issue with no success. Stay away from this TV!
Summary: Unable to use smart hub as tv will not connect to Internet. Cable provider tried for hours even with direct Ethernet cable attached and still no luck. Sharp Cust service could not resolve over phone and denies any knowledge of issue despite many other posted complaints same issue. Promised to come out but no show or call. On phone for 2 hrs! . Best Buy was wonderful helping with problem trying Switching TVS etc.
Pros: TV is great, Best Buy support Great!
Cons: Unable to connect to Internet Sharp Cust Service terrible!
