Summary: After rarely using this TV, a horizontal red line appeared on the right side of the screen about 14" in from the edge. We called customer support at Sharp. They took down personal contact info and then required I photo picture of red line and mail a copy of original receipt before they would address...
Summary: OK. How long should it last? This one made it about 9 1/2 months. Then one night a line appeared along the bottom of the screen. The next morning, 2 lines. The next morning, three lines. And now there is hardly a picture at all. Sharp is cooperative but SLOW.
Summary: Not as good as our 52" Sony that is 4 years old. And, it is not as good as our 42 inch Sharp that is 6 years old. Picture is somewhat jerky, movement is just not perfect. Seems to have difficulty with focus, however that may be in the camera and not in the TV. But, when it is good, it is very good.
Summary: This review is for the 70 inch. But first off I give Amazon 5 stars for this whole transaction. I bought this TV to replace my 3 year old Panasonic 63" Plasma. I loved that TV, but it was big, bulky and heated up the room.
great TV, but where is the user guide for the remote?

Summary: The picture is excellent on this TV. I got this TV Friday and was able to set it up pretty quickly. The manual didn't give too much information. My biggest frustration is that this comes with a universal remote, but the remote doesn't have a users guide.
Summary: A 5 out of 5. Right out of the box this TV has been picture perfect. Easy to set up. Easy to operate. Easily beats the pictures of my 55" Samsung & 50" Sony. I havent had to fiddle with any adjustments as there has been no need! One small complaint.
