Summary: the sharp aquos picture is just fine....my problem is with the manufacturer........the tv developed white spots on the screen about 4 months after purchase.....sharp has agreed to replace the tv.........problem is they dont have one in stock to give me.....i have been waiting for about a month now and they tell me they cant find a set to give me.....almost comical except for the fact im watching a tv with white spots all over screen......
Summary: We bought this back in june when it was on sale. It was delivered within a few days and the delivery person unwrapped it and turned it on to show us everything's in fine condition before he left. everything seemed to work fine. We couldn't hook it up right away as we were renovating, so it wasn't until over a month later when we finally installed it onto the wall and started actually watching Tv with it. Well, the screen and visuals were really great - no complaints.
Summary: I purchased this unit in January 2013 (from costco.com); within approx 2 wks of arrival the unit began to display severe lip sync problems (the picture and sound did not line up). I worked with Sharp customer service for several wks and approx 4 tech service visits (including firmware updates and motherboard replacement). When this did not solve the problem, Costco agreed to replace the unit with another new one.
(EDITED) Good TV, but inspect upon delivery and look at the bottom of the screen...

Summary: First TV that arrived was only carried in by a single delivery guy. When you test this TV, use a WHITE screen and be sure to view the edges. Mine had black flares on the bottom which I noticed while viewing a hockey game. Sharp's customer service was OK, but Amazon's has been great so far. Replacement arrived this AM and it seems better but I still need an hour or so with it to adjust the settings.
