Summary: A little under a year after purchase I started seeing many white spots on the bottom third of my screen. It seems to be a recurring problem with many sellers. Summary: After just over a year the TV has started growing white spots and bright marks that are highly visible on bright backgrounds. A quick search found many others with the same issue. Please avoid this model and check your TV closely before your warranty runs out if you already bought it.

Summary: Bought this model at best buy. Had several pixels go out on the lower left within the first year. Exchanged it with authorization from sharp. Next TV, same issue within 6 MO. Went through process all over again. Examined floor model at store, it also had bad pixels.
Summary: It cost me $2000 dollars for this TV to watch 15 months. Picture just went out and the only help I got from Sharp is to do reset on TV. After that didn't work, I end up paying for a TV repairman, recommended by them to throw it away because LCD panel was bad.
Summary: Two Months after the warranty expired on my 70 inch Sharp Aquos , vertical thin lines appeared on the screen. They are about an inch apart and they cover the entire screen. Other reviewers have complained about this. It appears this is not an isolated incident.
