  • Summary: So I purchased this TV around a year ago. A few months in, I noticed some white spots beginning to form on the screen. After enough of them, I contacted Sharp. They requested all of the normal things that they would need to verify my claims and shortly after approved a replacement TV.

  • Summary: I bought this TV back in December of 2013. In August 2014, I noticed many white spots and "scars" all along the bottom third of the screen (many of you have had the same issue). So I contacted Sharp and they make me jump through all the hoops over several weeks: troubleshooting, sending in pictures,...

  • Summary: A little under a year after purchase I started seeing many white spots on the bottom third of my screen. It seems to be a recurring problem with many sellers. As I am out of warranty, there isn't much I can do. You would think that paying close to 2 grand would get you a quality television.

3 December 2014
  • Summary: After just over a year the TV has started growing white spots and bright marks that are highly visible on bright backgrounds. A quick search found many others with the same issue. Please avoid this model and check your TV closely before your warranty runs out if you already bought it.

Don't expect much help from Sharp when it fails

Mike Bogaczyk "mike", Amazon
1 July 2014
  • Summary: It cost me $2000 dollars for this TV to watch 15 months. Picture just went out and the only help I got from Sharp is to do reset on TV. After that didn't work, I end up paying for a TV repairman, recommended by them to throw it away because LCD panel was bad.
