Summary: I bought this tv for $700 from Target as a Christmas present for my family in 2013. I feel that I've owned it long enough now (June 2015) to write a review. In my mind, a "smart" tv just has more features that can go wrong. I wanted a large screen with no additional options.
Summary: I love technology and am very critical of "HD" products. I have nothing but good things to say about this television. I have waited 6 months to review to ensure there were no glitches with the product, and it performed as it says. Bottom line, it is better than I expected.
Summary: I purchsed this TV based on the reviews I read on this site. I was primarily concerned about the picture quality and I was not disappointed. This TV delivers a fantastic picture. I haven't made any adjustments yet even though I documented some from other buyers.
Pros: Nothings wrong with this tv. With it being refubished, i was kind of skeptical. I was completely suprised! No scratches, no dead pixels, you cant even tell it was refurbished!! sound is great. and i love that this tv as apps as well!
Summary: A few tips on this great set. I wouldn't sit any closer than say 9 feet. Not a knock on this TV, but, some of the sorry compressed programming out there will look bad up close. At first, I was very frustrated with the picture settings...
Summary: Every time somebody walks in my house, they gaze at the TV. "What size is that?!?!" Of course, they compliment the picture quality, too. Love the energy-saving features. I could do without the internet connectivity, but I guess it's good that the firmware upgrades are easy to receive that way!
Summary: At the time of delivery, I took the TV out and plugged in to the wall to confirm that TV arrived in working condition. This is especially important in winter where LCD panel can freeze and crack during shipping. I turned the TV on and the screen came on with Sharp setup menu.
