Possibly decent product, horrendous problem resolution.

Summary: I'm sure the TV performs admirably when all of its parts work, but when I bought mine it had a faulty control board. As did the four I received after it, one of which being the LC-60TQ. Now when I call Sharp's Aquos support line, they tell me that the horizontal banding occurring multiple times every minute is normal and that my model is working fine. Spend the extra money for a Samsung. Written 4 months and a week since first problem.
Summary: the picture is great....setting up the tv was extremely easy....we're still trying to figure out everything that a "smart tv" does.... so far have had no problems.... the only drawback is the speakers.... we've heard all flat tv's have rear speakers and sometimes they are difficult to hear unless the volume is turned up high.... and the solution is to purchase a sound bar.... which we have done and we're waiting for it to arrive....
Summary: If you are reading my review, chances are you have read six or seven by now...and you've either talked yourself into this TV, or out [again]. Well, let me try to ease your mind. I had a Sharp 60 " prior to this one (LC-60LE830U) I bought in 2011. I bought it from Sears and got the Protection Plan (extended warranty). 2.5 years into owning this set, while watching "The Walking Dead", i noticed the night scenes seems to have some greyish-clouding going on.
Summary: This TV has one of the worst pictures I have seen. Everything has a blur around it. I got this TV to replace a Vizio that had a great picture but would break every couple of months. I have messed with the settings for hours and cannot make this TV look good. This should be a $500 TV. I rather watch my Vizio TV with lines running through it.

Summary: The 60 inch Aquos Q+ is a fantastic tv. It may not be top of the line in official reviews performed using technology in situations that are not realistic, but in action for PS4 videogaming and even blu ray movie watching, it is astounding. I put Pacific Rim on this tv and it was mindblowing to see such a gorgeous picture and movie on such a tv.
Summary: Love my Sharp TV!! It is so clear and does so many amazing things that I haven't even tried out some of the many options this TV has to offer yet. I feel like I never have to leave my home, I can just stay at home and be entertained....
We have 2 other Sharp TV's in bedrooms and I've always loved the tone and richness with the Sharp Aquos

Summary: We were in the market for a new 4K TV as are old after 12 yrs.(was not a Sharp TV but a big old projection tv). We have 2 other Sharp TV's in bedrooms and I've always loved the tone and richness with the Sharp Aquos. We headed out to the stores to take a look at was available (this was nearly 6-8mos. ago). The first one that caught my eye was the Sony 4K 65 inch. Unbelievable picture! But so was the price at the time!
Excerpt: The picture is fabulous. I have to get used to the quality of the picture as it looks like a television soap opera as far as absolute clarity. Makes all the older shows look brand new and modern. The sound quality, even with the internal audio settings is sub par compared to the picture. Not a problem for me as I use a new Onkyo reciever amp for the entire system and it sounds amazing.
Pros: All the connections options I could ever need, Easy To Set Up, Great Picture Quality
Summary: I got an excellent deal on this tv, bought the display model because they didn't have anymore in stock and paid 989 out the door. For starters this is my first Sharp, after researching I decided to go for this crossover to 4k. I can not comment on sound as the reviews for the majority of big screens is poor sound, so I immediately hooked mine up to my HT, Onkyo rec. Polk in wall recessed speakers. So sound is awesome for me.
