Summary: Bought in Nov-2013 and dead as of Aug-2015. Sharp does not care to even look at it since its past 1 year, and TV repair said the panel is the problem - not repairable. Spent 2800 on it and didn't even last two years.
Summary: I bought this TV on 06/15/13 and as of yesterday the screen needs to be replaced. I did my due diligent work reviewing written reports in the consumer reports and from other sources and I thought I was getting a good TV.
Summary: This tv started off great...for the first 15 months. Turned it on one day to watch, and within 30 minutes, the green left the screen and all I was left with was a very dark red, flickering screen image. I called Aquios advantage support and they had me do a hard reset and change some settings.
Summary: Horribly disappointed in this TV. Purchased less then two years ago and it is now a shiny brick. Random screen graphic glitches and weird horizontal pixel lines blacking out have plaged this tv for the last couple months.
Summary: I purchase this TV 2 months ago (Feb 20) from the day I purchased it, the internet connection has not worked properly ---intermittent connection. Sharp's Customer service is not very good... I hope to have a resolution but with all... not confident.

Summary: Bought mine in March along with an extra 5 yr warranty. A couple of months later I noticed people started looking like they had a sunburn. Soon after it turned to a darker purple and spread. Repair guys told me it was the panel and not replaceable.

Summary: These 80" screens have major issues. 1st TV went bad , 2 months in. On the vertical axis, a band about 1" wide went bad and turned blue. They replaced the tv. 2nd Tv had the triangle shadow issue on the bottom right. They replaced the tv 3rd Tv bad pixel.. they claimed it was in spec.
Summary: I'll be brief and to the point. Sharp is the worst company EVER to do business with! Six months after purchasing this set a gray bar appeared across the screen. Called Sharp and was told to take pictures of the problem and send them in. They determined that they would send a refurbished set to me.
