Summary: HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE The TVs these days are not made like they used to be. You won't hang on to your TV very long so customer service is very important. Having recently purchased a 60" Aquos I was very sad to hear that the unit had to be replaced completely, even more when they told me that it took take up to 3 WEEKS+ to replace.
Summary: I search for a long time and did my research. I was looking for a large screen HD TV that did not have 3-D capability because my significant other has vision problems and did not care about this feature. I am very pleased with my choice and the picture and other features are excellent. The only possible quibble is with the audio. As others have mentioned, the sound volume is a little shallow.
Summary: piece of garbage... Worked just until the warranty expired. Don't trust reviews from new buyers. I would have rated this high as well initially but after seeing MANY others with similar complaints (motherboard failure) I would avoid Sharp products like the plague.
Summary: love this TV. Colors are great. The only complaint is the sound could be a little better. But with a sound bar it sounds great. Purchased this 60 tv to replace a 46 Sharp tv that we have had for 4 years. Moved the 46 inch upstairs and hung the 60 inch above fireplace. Looks very nice. Colors are very bright and picture is clear from odd angles as well. We went with the Sharp, becuase with my experience, they last.
Major Flashlight Effect - Already on 2nd Replacement; otherwise Great TV.

Summary: I want to love this TV. 60" is the perfect size for my family room and looks great on my wallmount; very sleek looking. Sound quality is fantastic for TV speakers. The features of this TV are great including the Smart TV features. Youtube app works great and the processing power of the smart apps is fast and sastisfying. The menus are quick and detailed and the menu response times are very fast.
Summary: Ok, almost a week after owning the television (60 inch version) and trying to find things that I did not like about the TV, I have to give it five stars. To summarize: (1) Amazing picture (I can only speak for Blurays and Netflix either via PS3 or through TV's inbuilt Smart Central). THANKS A TON to other reviewers like Mr John Saylers without whose tip regarding the 'Soap Opera Effect', I would have spent a lot of time trying to get rid of it.
Summary: I got the 60" Costco version of this TV a few months ago. As long as you put it into "Game" mode, you won't have the Soap Opera effect, which is obviously terrible. You can turn off a lot of options to try to get there, but Game mode is the only sure way to escape it. I've played a small set of video games and it looks great. Can't comment on other fast action since I don't do sports. Built-in web browser, Netflix, etc. apps are slow and terrible.
Summary: It gets the job done. It has a slight lean forward but that's easily fixed by propping something underneath it. While top heavy, whoever thought putting more of the base (behind) the tv was smart. Should be fired. I'd feel safer using the base if the front had more protection since it does lean that way more. Definitely worth the money, for how cheap it is. If I could mention anything, don't use for gaming if you don't use a Headset OR surround sound.
