Summary: It is mounted on the wall in my bedroom. great for those "sick days" of watching sports or movies. Might want to get a sound bar for bedroom use, the speakers are a little weak, but it workes great on surround sound !
Huge, bright, and (ha) Sharp - can't go wrong with this TV.

Excerpt: After using a 42" 1080i plasma HDTV for the past few years. I finally had the budget and the inclination to upgrade to a larger screen and go to a true 1080p set. I spent a lot of time researching all of the models out there, since now it's not just plasma versus LCD versus DLP or 720p vs 1080i vs 1080p. 1080p is pretty much set, but there's now plasma, LCD, edge-lit LED, full-array LED, Quattron, and DLP. On top of all of that, there's 2D and 3D sets to consider.
Summary: Since this was my first Sharp Aquos TV, I was worried about this brand. After using Mitsubichi large screen for many years, this TV blew the Mits away. The picture is amazing. The color is true. I play video games on this tv and they play wonderfully. I strongly suggest that if you are cosidering purchasing a large screen HDTV, consider the Sharp AQUOS strongly. You will not go wrong and your family will certainly thank you.
Summary: ...and you'll get a fair idea of what the picture on this TV is like. Yes, the depth it provides is that immersive and real. With the added bonus that you can alter said reality to suit your own tastes. Be it color intensity, brightness, hues, etc. there is a way to adjust them to the exact level you want.
Summary: This television is unreal. I mean they should call it something other than a tv it is so much more. The 240 hz takes a little getting used to but once you do the picture is so unbelievably clear and precise you cant imagine. The size alone of this model is quite impressive. It takes watching tv to a whole new level. REALLY. Great price also.
Big, bright, colorful, with deep black levels too!

Summary: I got a smokin' deal on a refurb so I will not mention a few swirl marks on the bezel, or even the small, spotlight-like light leak I get at about the 7:00 position on any dark/black scenes. I also knew going in that it would be 100+ lbs. heavy, unlike the crazy 0.5" thin super LED Sonys and Samsungs, but I don't plan on moving it every 12 hours or hanging it on a wall like a picture.
Summary: size color sound weight screen everything perfect. the kids love how big sponge bob looks mom loves beng able to read the guide with out squintin and dad just love everything about it. the best buy we ever made as a family. recomended for large or small familys.
Summary: I have only had this TV for three days but I LOVE it. I am not an electronics guru/geek by no means. I just know that the TV appeals to me both aesthetically and functionally. I have watched a DVD, sit-coms, basketball, NASCAR, and two blu-rays. I have yet to play the Wii but I could not wait any longer to post my review. I just got through watching How to Train Your Dragon on blu-ray at 7:30 pm (totally dark room) and the picture was UNBELIEVABLE!
