I've had this TV set for over a 2 years now and have to say that i have not had any issues at all with the set i have multiple gaming systems attached (ps3&wii) and the pictures quality is great and have not noticed any lag in game play. its a good TV for the money when i bought it but now a days it isn't you can really get more TV for the same price now a days. but overall this is a good TV. the contrast ratio is 7500:1 which is extremely low for today's standards. The picture quality on the dynamic 7500:1 contrast is very poor and the color is way off and you cant adjust it. the other picture settings are o.k.. for the price . Any thing on Blu Ray looks great as well as PS3 and Xbox360. Analog signals look good. I could not find any info on the contrast ratio on the other settings the owners manual doesntstate any contrast numbers only the 7500:1 for dynamic. there is also no info on the sharp website on this t.v. . Got a good price, I think more informatin should be available at the store. I assumed all newer TV's had the features I expected. I do like the ability to program the Favorites buttons, one saving grace. Read more

Bought mine about 6 or 7 months ago. Now it has color distortions and a red line running down the center of the screen. The reapear shop says it's the main logic board ($180) and they can't find one anywhere in stock, which may indicate that this is a common problem. You may want to dig some more to find out whether or not this is a common issue before buying this (or any other Sharp) TV. Read more

I purchased this TV on 11/21/08. I loved it. It has some of the best sound on a TV I have ever heard. The picture is just wonderful. Unfortunately I jumped the gun and purchased it right before the Thanksgiving sales. There was a Sony Bravia 46" at the same price. We researched online and compared different brands and models at the stores before narrowing our selection to Sony, Samsung and this Sharp . . . all with excellent picture quality and the features we wanted.
