NOT WIDE SCREEN, NO MONITOR AUDIO W/ HDMI

promethiuz, Ebay
18 March 2011
  • Summary: Pictures on the auction by dell were of a wide screen, or were edited to make them look like widescreen. The audio output on the back (you know, for hooking up audio output to your surround sound) doesn't seem to work with HDMI so you have to use the poor quality speakers it comes with..... or you can hook up to the headphone jack like I've done.

Sharp LC- 42SB48Ut 42" LCD Television

ojudyol, Ebay
9 March 2011
  • Summary: I needed a TV for the bedroom and kept putting it off until this offer popped up on E-Bay. Who could resist? It's a nice looking flat screen and sits perfectly on top of the Ar moire. It's got a beautiful picture and the HD is gorgeous. The sound is not as good as my larger Sony but I'm not complaining for the price.

Sharp LC-42SB48UT 42'' LCD Television

cathy_johnny, Ebay

  • Summary: We bought this TV to go into an exercise room at home. This was the best and most TV for the dollar at the time we bought it.. It is black. We also mounted it on the wall --we had to buy the mount elsewhere..BUT it was easy to install and put up. It is a really good TV.. I would buy it again..without a doubt Dell did an awesome job shipping it and tracking itfor us.

Wonderful picture quality Some trouble w fleshtones

akroness, Ebay
9 February 2011
  • Summary: I may not have the set adjusted probably but out of the box it seems to be a little washed out on flesh tones. I got a good price on it and am pleased with it overall but it's not perfect just very good. I can't help feeling I should have held out for an Aquos. This is a good TV particularly in HD!

First HDTV

irnickhenry, Ebay
7 February 2011
  • Summary: My wife and I decided to get a large HDTV as a Christmas present to each other. We wanted multiple HDMI ports, stereo-out (headphone jack), 1080p resolution, and 8ms or faster refresh rate. Our primary use of the TV is via an Xbox 360 from which we watch DVDs, stream from NetFlix, and play video games. We had our eye on a number of models and when this model reached our price point we went for it.

  • Summary: we were looking to upgrade out 36" and saw this deal on ebay. the price was right as was the screen size. the picture quality is excellent and it was very easy to set up. the shipping was also fast. the only negative we've found is sound quality. there are different sound options but we had to spend too much time adjusting equalizer to get the sound quality we like. even the default sound settings were a little off for us. overall a great product at a great price.

Great TV!

stamp*cat, Ebay
1 February 2011
  • Summary: Our old TV was on its last legs, so when we saw this TV on EBay's Daily Deals for a terrific price, we decided to go ahead and try it out. This is not the fanciest LCD TV, nor does it have a lot of bells and whistles. However, we were impressed by the display quality and the ease of use. I had it out of the box and set up with cable, VCR, and Blu-Ray in less than an hour. Also, all of our friends have been impressed as well. A great TV and a great bargain through EBay.

Good TV, but the Panasonic is better.

R. Leslie, Amazon
17 January 2011
  • Summary: This was the least expensive name-brand 42" 1080p LCD HDTV I could find when I started my search in December 2010. I found it at Dell for $469, free shipping, but sales tax was applied (why, I don't know). The picture is very nice, but one complaint is with the viewing angles. If you stand directly in front of it, it's awesome. Even if you move 20-30 degrees to the side, it's still good. But, at sharp angles, the picture quality and color washes out with a blue-ish tint.

Very Nice TV

Maria "Laf42Day", Amazon
5 January 2011
  • Summary: Took me more than 3 months to decide on a television. We have not purchased a new TV in 10 years. I was ready for a LCD TV, but the options are daunting to say the least. I just wanted to plug it in and go. This TV is much bigger than our last and the picture is beautiful. Sound is aweful, but who in the world uses the TV speakers any more? They are all junk as most people have a surround system or a sound bar so that was no issue for me.
