Summary: Bought this unit from Dell for under $500 delivered, half the price of my Samsung 46" unit. PROS: 1. Good price 2. lightweight 3. good picture 4. picks up both analog (who knew?)and digital stations over the air with roof antenna. CONS: 1. sound is BAD like the factory radio in a YUGO. I was able to make it better through the audio setup, maxing out bass and trebel then setting eq to the "live" setting, but it is still not what I would call good. 2.
Summary: We bought this Sharp LC 42" T.v. before Christmas because of the size and the great price. We have purchased sharp T.V's before for our home and have never had any issues. The picture quality on this T.V. is great, but we are disappointed in the sound. It seems muffled and we have adjusted the sound many times. Not satisfied with this Sharp T.V.
Summary: I like the TV, but the sound is pretty stinky. Picture is actually pretty good. The worst thing about this pretty decent TV is that DELL thinks they can ship it to you in 3 weeks and not give you updates on where it is and when it is supposed to arrive. What a mess... Glad and actually surprised it came to my house not broken.
Summary: The contrast ratio on this particular model isn't that great, about 1/4 of what you get with a Samsung, that's probably why it's not advertised. When buying this model keep in mind this is NOT an AQUOS (Sharp's premium LCD). In fact when looking at Sharp's website, I think this is 1 of only 3 models they still make without the Aquos color technology. That's precisely why they sell this model for less. The PC connectivity may have some issues.
