Summary: Pro's; This unit has superb quality picture for the purchase price. Sharp has better units available, but at price per points value nothing beats this 42" Aquos. Con's; The only downsides to this unit are the are only 2 HDMI inputs, and the speakers aren't the quality you would expect from a Sharp...
Summary: Has a thin black cabinet that looks sleek and modern. Frame is narrow and looks attractive. Features include a DVR that was easy to setup and install. Pictures are sharp and colors are true. High brightness and maintains brilliant colors. No problems with windows in the same room.
Pros: Picture quality is awesome and a pleasure to watch. This is my 3rd SHARP AQUOS TV and the best yet!
Summary: I was a little uneasy buying such an expensive product online, but I love this TV, and with a good calibration setting, it's excellent. I went with the 4ms refresh rate because my husband and I play a lot of video games. If you buy this in stores, you will pay double the price!
Summary: I bought this baby after my Samsung broke down after a year, unfortunately out of warranty (Should've got the extended warranty. Oh well, live and learn I suppose.) First I should say that I don't use this tv for the analog tuner or even watching cable tv, as I do not have a cable box or an antenna...
Summary: We bought this TV in August 2008. On Thanksgiving Day (3 months later), it began to turn itself off after about 15 minutes. The first time, I thought it was a fluke and unplugged the set and tried again. After several more attempts and more of the same, the TV went in the box and was returned.
Summary: With so many well-written reviews of this TV, what can I possibly add? Well, it turns out I can review the support I got when the TV didn't work. The short story is that Sharp's support was fantastic. First, the Amazon White Glove delivery was great. Scheduling TV delivery was easy.
Summary: This is my opinion of the TV set based off of limited use of it (I've only been using it for about a month).......... I love this television set--it really is reliable so far. The picture quality is amazing, the features on the physical set and remote are good, its very flat 'n compact (I have a...
Summary: This TV has no channel search function. Also, there is no way to get it to save a channel so you can flip through the channels. I called Sharp who said that it was set in "store" mode (as in a display model in a store).
Summary: We purchased this TV for $1400 (with an extended warranty) about a year ago and have been more than happy with it. 42" is just right for a small apartment or condo, and coupled with the wall attachment, looks great above our fireplace.
