The Sharp AQUOS LC-46DX2 is a 46 inch, 1,920 × 1,080 pixel resolution, full HD LCD panel TV with 15000:1 contrast ratio, backlit technology, and 176 horizontal and vertical viewing angle. It also supports two 6.5 cm diameter speakers with a maximum audio output of 10W (2ch). It has a power consumption of 267 W (0.1W on standby), and an annual energy consumption of 202 kWh/year. LC-46DX2 supports three HDMI input, two D5 input, an S2 video input, three composite input, an Analog RGB (D-Sub 15 pin), one Monitor output, one optical digital audio output, one headphone jack, modular interface, two Ethernet ports, one LAC and one BD-Live interface (RS-232C). The LC-46DX2 measures 1,122 × 328 × 805 mm and weighs about 27.5 kg. It comes in black, red and white color options.

Features

The Sharp AQUOS DX2 HDTVs features a Blu-ray disc recording capability that is built into the unit. Set to be released 10 September 2009, the AQUOS DX2 HDTV is a full high definition TV with two digital tuners, as well as terrestrial analog tuners equipped with BD recording function within the form factor. This eliminates the need for wired recorders, and the Blu-ray recorder/player function is integrated into the unit's Graphic User Interface (GUI). The unit supports BD-R / R DL media with MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 formats. It also features an Electronic Program Guide (EPG), and burn up to 30 hours of HD video on dual-layer Blu-ray discs, by way of transcoding and compressing to MPEG-4 format. The AQUOS DX2 HDTVs also supports Internet services connectivity, HDMI connectivity for high definition output, built-in stereo speakers, and features built-in sensors for light and brightness adjustments that automatically adjusts picture quality and sound quality, automatically turns the TV on at set program time, as well as Auto Volume control.
