Summary: Everyone notices the difference in the Quality compared to theirs at home. Aquos is Excellent, the color is superb, the sound is as if one had stereo speakers, and the size is perfect for the standard living room, period.
Summary: This is the best tv we have ever purchased. We have Aquos tv's in every room, but this is by far the best picture quality we have ever seen. Even regular definition is amazing. The price was really good, and there have been no issues whatsoever.
Summary: I have been toying with the idea of buying my first HD TV for a while. I have been going into places like Sears, Best Buy, ABC Warehouse, and Paul's TV for the last couple of weeks. I also have been checking out the prices and reading reviews on sites like Amazon. I finally thought I settled on either a Samsung UN40C6300 or a Sharp LC40LE830U. Both were $899 at the Paul's TV I looked. For the second time, I went into Sears to check out the sales.
Summary: Can't rave about it enough. I don't know if it's the yellow pixels or what, but everything you throw up on it looks almost three dimensional. Really! Typical Sharp quality that no doubt stems from the fact that they manufacture their own components. (Or so I've been led to believe anyway.) When I first looked at it in a Big Box, I noticed right away that the images seemed brighter and sharper than anything else in the store. Old BW movies look amazing on it.
Summary: To be perfectly honest, I am surprised by how well this purchase worked out. The picture is stupendous. Visitors offer unsolicited compliments on how real programs look. The only gripe I have is that there seems to be a slight lag when interfacing with the cable-provided DVR menus. Perhaps it is my setup (or the cable box), I have not been bothered enough by it to troubleshoot.
Summary: I've had my Sharp LC40LE910UN 40" HDTV for two weeks now, and am still amazed at the quality of the color picture in all sorts of room lighting, from high bright daytime to darker night time. I have not noticed any fading to grey or lack of great blacks at all. I love the OPC automatic picture control for adjusting the set to the room light. It works perfectly. Set up was a breeze, and hooking up a DVD-BluRay player took 5 seconds.
Summary: I reviewed many many TV's before I decided on the Sharp LC40LE810UN 40" 1080p 120Hz LED Edge-lit LCD HDTV But haven't been disappointed! I am an Electronics Sales trainer and am certified for LCD/LED and Plasma technologies by the C.E.A.A.(Consumer Electronics Association of America.) This TV's has by far the best actual picture of any TV within about $2000.00 of it's price range. The Sharp is only a 120hz yet it display's better than my next door neighbors 240hz Vizio is...
Summary: This is an amazing TV! I picked mine up at best buy open box for $699. When I was at the store I wasn't there looking to walk out with a TV, I was just kind of browsing around (was more in the market for a new laptop) but when I have had my eye on the sharp TV's for quite some time now as I have always thought they have a much better picture than any of the other TV's out there.
Summary: This TV is incredible. 4,000,000 : 1 contrast ratio and it is overwhelmingly apparent. Video games are amazing, the sound is great also. I see all of these Samsung HDTV's that have bulb problems, my previous 2 Samsung's all had to have the light replaced. I have owned a VIZIO and an LG. None of them are even close to the quality of SHARP. SHARP is in a league of their own, and its not even close. I will never buy a different brand of television for as long as I live.
