Excellent picture - poor build quality

Summary: Firstly - the picture is the best I have seen in a TV of this class. By far. I bought this TV in April 2011. It was new in a sealed box. Immediately I set it up on its stand I noticed that it rattled during low pitched sounds. A few weeks later I hung it on a wall bracket.
Summary: The sound thing is a big deal I would have looked at other tvs if I knew but you would think that a optical digital out would do just that and give you all the surround formats digital has to offer not just pcm 48.I was tricked and Im not happy maybe this might save someone else from making a big...
Pros: the picture is amazing on the movie mode 3/2 pull down looks real almost 3d the colors are vivid have lots of adjustments to make it just right
Cons: has lots of connections in some out. the optical digital out does not out put digital signal (blue light on your reciever) only pcm 48 so no true surround sound. If you hook the optical on your dish reciever to your amp for the digital surround it works but if you have the movie mode, on it is out...
Summary: The Sharpe TV arrived quickly along with the additional items I ordered. Unfortunatly the Sound Board was bad. The local repair company Sharp used was VERY POOR, and it was 2 weeks until it was working.
Summary: Everything about the screen is good except for the sound. No matter how loud you make it, it is still hard to understand some speech. Its like teh speakers are mounted in teh back or something. Its really hard to figure out.
