Impressive picture quality for a value priced TV from SEIKI.
7 May 2013
Summary: I have purchased several Seiki TVs in the past two years for our lake resort rentals. After careful comparisons of specifications and actual comparisons of picture quality with many other brands of TVs I found SEIKI to rate very high in picture brightness and sharpness of contrast. We have not experienced any problems yet with any of the units we have purchased.
Product works very well and I am thinking of buying another.

Summary: Product works very well and I am thinking of buying another. I bought it for watching movies fro my computer and it has many features. Was kind of weary in deciding on buying this TV but it exceeds my expectations greatly.
Summary: I have had this tv goin 2years now, havent had any issues with it. My brother in law bought same one, he has returned it 3x due to dead pixels. Its great for the price an size i give it a 4 only cuz if u do get a good one it is worth it.
Summary: First thing to vent about is the TERRIBLE remote. It is truly a shame that Seiki choose to include such a poor remote. Why include such a crappy remote when many superior cheap remote are sold retail for under $10? ( if the retail is under 10, you can imagine what Seiki pays wholesale). They probably are paying 3 cents for the crappy remote that they are including with this TV. IT IS CRAP, CRAP CRAP!!
Summary: I bought this TV from Kmart 3 days ago. It blew me away with the vivid crystal clear picture for an off brand TV. Also comes with HDMI...HOWEVER....soon as set it up not even 30 minutes a pixel is already dead. And Kmart never has them in stock b/c they are so cheap, so I have to wait to exchange.
Flickering TV, dead pixel, forgets channels, dead screen

Summary: Seiki has not been good to me...you can refer to my review of another Seiki model: http://www.amazon.com/review/R3GE3TRKZTUIYW I received this model, the SC402TT, as a replacement for my LC40G81 from Seiki. I've only had this TV for about a month, and it has had every malfunction possible. First, it has a dead pixel on day one. Then a few days later, I start noticing that it keeps forgetting my channels and time.
Summary: I have a previous model of 40 inch Seiki flat screen TV. Three (3) weeks after the one (1) year warranty expired my TV could not select a channel (it would cut in and out of the channel). I called Seiki and was told that since it was out of warranty that if I could find a certified repair shop they would supply parts to fix it if I paid shipping costs to the repair shop.
Summary: I ordered on black Friday and got a great deal on this HDTV. It has beautiful, panoramic screen and was very easy to setup. It's lightweight but sturdy and has the same product functions you'll get with higher priced models of this size.
