Summary: To start with, this model lasted me 3 months, its completely burn't out, there is no support system for this company, nor is there any valid warrenty.I bought this from another company, a well known site,it was on sale. But Now I see this TV on Amazon.BEWARE BUYER !!! This is my second one, figured maybe it was a lemon, but 2 for 2 TV's ?? NOT !!!!!
Summary: I bought this TV to replace a dead one for the bedroom. 26" is the perfect size as it doesn't light up the whole room in bright scenes. The amount of inputs is great, much better than the new panasonic plasma we got for the living room. Unfortunately that's all the good things I can say about the TV. Out of the box when I hooked it up to my antenna the setup screen comes on and even after going through and setting it up the screen keeps popping up.
Summary: I bought this TV for my husband for Christmas because I thought it was a good buy. Boy, was I wrong! The channel scan menu pops up everytime the TV is turned on and off, additionally, while you're watching TV, another menu continually pops up and blocks the screen. Seiki is obviously awasre of the problem and has a dedicated webpage just for firmware updates to fix it. Unfortunately, this model does not have a firmware update online.
Summary: A TV, for the most part, is just a TV right? Not this thing. The worst part of it is that the remote control is composed of tiny buttons that are impossible to see or operate by touch--an unbelieveable oversight by the manufacturer. Also the screen writing when you are setting something up, is so small it is hard to see. Must be something to do with a market that has these TV's in a small room and the operator has tiny, tiny hands and has never seen a TV before.
