Pros: Has been a good TV to me for a few years, but, it gave up the ghost about a year n' a half ago. Luckily, it's STILL under manufacture's warranty :) So I'm about to send it back, after having it collect dust for over a year, and hopefully it'll serve me well yet again.
Cons: Not really a con, but, don'cha hate it when electronics bite the dust?
Summary: My 32" Sceptre got stolen by some thieves and I purchased this to replace it. Have owned it since 2009 and am very satisfied. I do believe I had a dead pixel towards the bottom right, but can barely notice it.
Pros: -Great price -Great picture with a few tweaks -Lots of inputs
Cons: -Awful remote -Changing the volume or flipping through channels takes more time than it should -Flimsy stand -Not so good sound
Summary: I don't regret buying this one bit. I use it as both an HTPC monitor and a regular TV. Unless you just want to spend more money so you can brag about having a (Sony, Panasonic, etc.), there's no reason not to buy this. But... The remote is awful (and ugly!).
Pros: Beautiful picture, nice-looking TV, lots of features
Summary: I cannot recommend this monitor if you're only going to use it as an Over The Air TV. The OTA TV tuner in this thing just plain sucks. But if you plan to use cable/satellite OR as a sole HTPC/PC monitor, this is THE 32 inch monitor for you. I'm personally using it as a second monitor for my PC.
Pros: If you're looking to build an HTPC or just hook up your PC to a larger screen, I can't recommend this monitor enough due to it's attractive price point. I've watched 1080p movies and played games like COD4, GTA4, etc on this and they all look flawless. My screen has no dead pixels or any other ma...
Cons: This TV's biggest weakness is the TV tuner and the remote. Flipping between channels is a time consuming task and the OSD often misrepresents what channel you're on. Response to any OSD command (like a program guide or channel details) takes about a second to display. One second might not seem li...
Summary: As far as I can tell, the reason this item is marked down and the reason for other bad reviews is a slow HD tuner. When using this as a PC monitor, with a cable or satelite system with it's own HD tuner or with a Home Theatre PC these issues are not a problem.
Pros: Great monitor! No noticible ghosting. Rock solid performance, crisp and clear. 1080p resolution is solid accross all capable interfaces.
Summary: I got this TV on sale on Newegg for a good price and the picture quality and is good. The sound is good as well. The major problem with this TV are the HDMI ports. They do not work (most of the time).
Pros: Good picture quality and price.
Cons: HDMI ports do not work or work intermittently.
Summary: I probably wasted $50 in gas looking at every 32 inch LCD in my area, and none of them compared to the picture quality of this set. And best of all, my wife is THRILLED with this TV!!!
Pros: Better picture quality than anything I have looked at, in every retailer in upstate NY ! Easy set up, pulls in every channel from Rochester and Syracuse with my 5 year old, small roof antenna. Viewing angle, color, brightness, and contrast are great.
Cons: Should have bought 2 more when they were on sale for $449.99 with free shipping.
