Summary: I bought one of these turkeys (not from Amazon) about 1.5 years ago, and I purchased a 3 year warranty with it. I had problems from the beginning. Almost immediately there were grayish vertical bands where the picture was less clear.

Summary: Bought one of these for our daughters room. Loved it, bought another 32 inch for our room, a 40 inch Scepter for the garage, then a while later a 50 inch for the living room. The original one we bought for our daughter's screen went blank after a year and a half.
Summary: You get what you pay for. This is definitely an affordable HD TV however, you're going to end up buying replacement parts. Mine worked great for 2 years and the power supply went out. I had to spend another $90 for a new power supply. Hopefully it will last another 2 years.
Summary: I bought this tv on July 17 2012. I absolutely loved this tv for almost 4 months..that is when it started flashing when I turned it on and then the picture died. I have sound, but no picture. It cost me almost $100 a month to own this tv.
