Summary: You get what you pay for. This is definitely an affordable HD TV however, you're going to end up buying replacement parts. Mine worked great for 2 years and the power supply went out. I had to spend another $90 for a new power supply. Hopefully it will last another 2 years.
Summary: I bought this tv on July 17 2012. I absolutely loved this tv for almost 4 months..that is when it started flashing when I turned it on and then the picture died. I have sound, but no picture. It cost me almost $100 a month to own this tv. I loved being able to hook it up to my computer, but I expected for the price for it to last at least two years not 4 months. I'm so disappointed.
Summary: I was hesitate to pull the trigger on an unknown brand of tv but the price was too enticing to not give it a shot. I was somewhat pleased for about 24 hrs. The picture is fantastic but the sound is puny. After that, every time I tried to turn the tv on, I got sound but no picture! The screen would finally come on after about a 5 min wait. I wasted no time returning this thing! You get what you pay for!
Summary: If your like me your reading this probably because you found this TV on sale or for a really good deal and want to see if there are any problems with it by reading some reviews. We'll I just unboxed it today and set it up and couldn't be happier. I connected it to a TERK indoor TV antennae here in SF and picked up all the channels i wanted. The HD picture is crystal clear...and the sound is plenty loud at just 20%. i don't know what the complaints are with the sound.
Summary: The price is good, but it won't last long. I bought two Sceptre TV's because of their low price. One last 2 years and 2 months and other last 2 years and 6 months. Just pay a little more to get a better brand is my suggestion.
Summary: I have had this tv for about 3 months, and out of nowhere the screen starts blinking in and out. I have to move the Tv left and right every time i turn it on just to get it to stop. I paid less than $300 for a 42inch set and now I see why it was so cheap. If this brand is all u can afford, goodluck.
Summary: I just received my 32" Sceptre TV today and I know it's early but I got it hooked up and it has a great picture for the price. Very easy to hook up and it also has plenty of HDMI hook ups. So far I feel this is going to be a solid purchase.
