Summary: I have used a Sceptre monitor for years and it is top notch so when I saw this 32 in Sceptre 3D HD TV for a fantastic price I ordered it and I was not disappointed. The 3D is just like at the theaters (I get my 3D programming from my roku HD Box as I do not have cable). The 2D to 3D conversion on over the air HD TV makes sporting events seem like you are there. I'm watching hockey now more than ever and really enjoying the 3D view.
Excerpt: This is a very nice TV especially for the price. We ordered this TV online, and we have been very pleased with the picture quality and ease of use. It was very easy to hook up. Much easier than the monster TV we had before. It is extremely light, too which was one of the reasons it was so much easier to hook up. We have hooked our laptop up to the TV several times to watch a show online, and it is very easy to do and the picture quality is great.
Excerpt: This TV is a great, budget TV for the bedroom or kids room. Not great for the sound, a little tin-ny. With a soundbar I think this TV would be great for a dorm or college kid or an older teens room. Standard cable does not look good on this TV. Had satellite dish running standard coax to these tvs in the bedrooms and it was bad. Now with digital HD cable via HDMI it looks amazing.
Excerpt: Was shocked when the screen went out (in a spark) within 30 days. When I went to Google the issue I found many others with the same problem and guess what...NO fix for it. I saw reviews for horrible customer service. Luckily I bought mine from a local retailer who has a great return policy and was able to get my money back without the box (I had moved and thrown it away accidentally). Otherwise, I would have been out of luck.
Excerpt: This is a 720 line, 60 Hz machine. Picture is decent, sound good considering the price. I jhave it set up for the basement for when I work out or am in the workshop; for these applications, it's far more than adequate. Good deal for the money. Not real smooth if you're too close, from any distance, it's fine (caveat: I typically watch this without my 1 diopter of nearsightedness correction). better than many more expensive sets.
Excerpt: easy to use has good clear picture sound quality is good, performs well, comes right on when it is turned on, not like some that take forever to warm up. Really like everything about this tv. If I had to purchase another TV, I would seriously consider purchasing another one from this company. Picture is very good and clear and sound is perfect.
Summary: I guess it's the KIA of tv's. Bought mine online at walmart, shipped for free 229 including taxes. The picture is crisp but just a tad bright. 32" led for 229, you can't find that anywhere. The sound is good for the bedroom. Set up took less than 5 mins. 6 Months Later: The picture is still crisp but I added a soundbar for $55. The sound hadn't changed but since I moved the acoustics of the room changed. I still recommend this TV and will buy another.
Ignore the hating reviews, Sceptre put out another gem

Summary: I own a 30" Sceptre LCD TV that I bought 7 years ago for $900+ (Back when they still had the all silver case and weighed a ton). Till this day it still has a beautiful picture and zero dead pixels and it's the guest room TV. This new model just show how far this company has come along in terms of quality control and performance. Definitely a great looking display, beautiful picture, and acceptable sound for a 0.88" panel.
