Summary: I needed a decent screen for streaming movies from my PC and didn't want to spend a lot. The picture quality may not be the best you can buy, but it's hard to beat at the price it's available at.

Summary: I really wanted to keep this tv. I really did enjoy the picture quality after I was able to dig up a calibration disc so I could tweak the screen up for gaming. The problem came in with the audio, of which I might mention I generally listen on a low volume and am not an audio nut in the slightest. The left speaker gradually blew out within a month of purchase. I had no problems returning and getting a refund.
Summary: Purchased this TV for $388 plus tax on 4/22/12. On 5/17/13 tv shut off by its self while we were watching it & as of today will not power on. We have tried everything including unplugging/plugging back in & trying different outlets, still no power. Called Sanyo & talked to very rude customer service rep & was given number of repair shop in my city but was told since the 1 year warranty was up we would be responsible for paying repair bill out of our pocket.
Summary: We purchased a Sanyo 42" 3 years ago and bought the extended warranty, in November of 2012 we turned on the tv the screen was half black we called customer service and told them our problem they gave another number to call for technical issues. Big mistake they had no clue what we were talking about even though I sent pictures. I also sent all the warranty information, the tv information and all seriel numbers.
Summary: I bought this TV for my kids for Christmas in 2011. It is on about 2 days per week, very infrequent. This past weekend, my kids told me the TV was turning on and off by itself. My recommendation to anyone is that if the TV turns off by itself at all, take it back the first time. If you are within a period you can take it back to the store, do it now!!! The TV looks and sounds great, but in all honesty, plan on replacing it shortly after the warranty.
Summary: I usually never post reviews because I don't always believe what I read online but in this case I wanted to make an acception. I purchased this television set a little over two years ago and it suddenly started malfunctioning. It just started turning off by itself and now wont turn on at all. I was told ( by more than one repair technichian) that it would cost over $300.00 too repair.
