Summary: I have recently ordered and returned to Etronics one of these. It bled fluorescent colors from sides and corners, ruining the picture, tinting faces and backgrounds alike. I just received a replacement, and it does the same thing, along with a lot of fuzziness, so I will be returning it for a refund. I called Sansui, and they offered no help. my assumption is that the tubes are faulty or of poor quality. Sound is mediocre on the set.
Summary: Pros: Good price; Good quality picture; Sound is OK; Easy hookup; Quick delivery
Cons: Takes more room than a small flat screen (but their reviews scared me away); Does not mount on underside of cabinet; Remote should have toggle for analog/digital channels
Bottom line: Good solution for counter-top TV
Summary: Bought this for use in a room without cable; site should have prompted antenna purchase--even the in-box instructions weren't clear on that issue. Once channels are scanned, most digital channels come in and picture quality is very good. Manually entering them is cumbersome but for the money, I can't complain.
Summary: I love it. I've been looking for a 13 inch TV for months beforethe change
You can't find them in any store that sells TVs.
Glad I was about to find this one online.
It's so nice to see clear channels.
Summary: Although it took some time to find on the web site, amidst the slew of flat-panel TVs at much higher prices, I was lucky enough to come across this 13-inch traditional tube-TV set, to replace one that will no longer work for my 89-year-old aunt when the switch to digital happens. Even though we live within six miles of midtown Manhattan, the set, surprisingly, works great with an amplified indoor antenna (rabbit ears on steroids!). It is easy to set up.
Summary: I purchased this TV specifically because it has the digital tuner. Setup was very easy and straight forward. It was able to scan the entire digital spectrum and pickup all the digital channels that my cable provider offers. Beautiful picture and sound for such an inexpensive TV.
