Summary: We are pleased with the TV. The delivery and installation we well done. We had hoped to stream video directly to the TV. About an hour of trying with the browser on the TV was unsuccessful. We are doing the job by attaching a computer to the TV and using the computer browser. This was disappointing.
Summary: Just got one yesterday and spent the day to set it up. It looks very nice. It is 65"ES6500 My complaints so far are banding in all white~mid contrast field. Black uniformity is poor but with proper backlit/brightness setting looks a lot better. Great color, contrast and sharpness but colors appear cartoonish at times. Again proper color level is essential to get it look natural.
Summary: The only thing I don't like about this TV is the frame. My other three Samsung have an edge that almost looks like glass and this one is in a black frame. The other look is just more impressive, but I do love the Samsung brand!
Summary: Have now been using this for over 4 weeks, connected this to the Onkyo Tx-NR609 receiver with 6 Polk Audio in ceiling speakers and a Yamaha sub-woofer. All for my basement pad - and it works like a dream. Delivery was prompt and it was very well packed. Due to the cold, they did not unpack the TV and check so I was a bit apprehensive when I plugged it on, but it worked just fine.
Summary: I must preface this review by saying I got a substantial discount on this set. If I had paid anything near MSRP I'd probably have to be more critical. I bought this TV because I liked the idea of having the "Smart Hub" internet TV features. I was in the market to replace my 34" Sony Wega XBR CRT, and also replace the Netflix and streaming features of my PS3 due to it being an older system and wishing to extend it's life.
