Summary: We are pleased with the TV. The delivery and installation we well done. We had hoped to stream video directly to the TV. About an hour of trying with the browser on the TV was unsuccessful. We are doing the job by attaching a computer to the TV and using the computer browser. This was disappointing.
Summary: Just got one yesterday and spent the day to set it up. It looks very nice. It is 65"ES6500 My complaints so far are banding in all white~mid contrast field. Black uniformity is poor but with proper backlit/brightness setting looks a lot better. Great color, contrast and sharpness but colors appear cartoonish at times. Again proper color level is essential to get it look natural.
Summary: The only thing I don't like about this TV is the frame. My other three Samsung have an edge that almost looks like glass and this one is in a black frame. The other look is just more impressive, but I do love the Samsung brand!
Summary: Have now been using this for over 4 weeks, connected this to the Onkyo Tx-NR609 receiver with 6 Polk Audio in ceiling speakers and a Yamaha sub-woofer. All for my basement pad - and it works like a dream. Delivery was prompt and it was very well packed. Due to the cold, they did not unpack the TV and check so I was a bit apprehensive when I plugged it on, but it worked just fine.
Summary: Bought this TV when I updated my entertainment system about a month ago. Overall a great television. The remote doesn't pick up the commands at times. The IR wire could have been a slight longer.
Pros: The picture quality is great. The built in applications are great.
Cons: The Smart Remote doesn't always pick up your voice.
Summary: Bought this TV at the end of April to replace an older 50-inch DLP. The picture is amazing, especially compared to my old TV. Bluray's look life-like. 3D is amazing when you can find content, however right after buying it, several broadcasters indicated they were dropping support for 3D. Smart features are super handy, however, I could have saved a few hundred dollars by buying and hooking up an Apple TV or a Roku.
Summary: After purchasing and setup, we discovered one fact that was unbelievable. We use multiple remotes for a TV in the room we are in and found out that only one remote can be used at a time. We purchased two other remotes and found that before each remote can be used it must be sync'ed up to the TV. So if you sync up a remote - the other remote will lose it's sync up to the TV. If I had know this - I would not have purchased the TV.
Pros: Most things are good - the remote could use work.
Summary: I am very pleased with this TV, it's the first smart TV and 3D TV I've owned and so far I'm loving it. Given its size, it was surprisingly thin and lightweight. The picture is phenomenal and it was very easy to set up with my DVR and Blu Ray devices.
