Summary: This is an excellent tv if you are looking for a basic large tv and do not watch a lot of sports. It has refresh rate of 120hz and hence was my initial hypothesis. I had this tv for a month and I am absolutely happy about the decision to buy this one. I bought a blu ray smart player for 70 bucks from Walmart again and got everything I needed rather than spend another 600 on a smart tv.
Summary: I love this tv. Great picture. Watched the nba finals on it and cant wait for football season. The guys at walmart even helped me load the tv in my truck. I recommend having a friend help if you need to wall mount it because its a big tv.
perfect, only 1 complaint, doesn't have native mac mini resolution at (1920x1080)

Summary: The tv will output at 1080px (1920x1080) my mac mini with hdmi. So, it may affect other computer input. However, as a workaround, Roku outputs at 1080p, and I can use Plex through roku and get 1080p on on this tv. no 3d, no smart tv, just the way I like it. It's a cheap big tv that displays a picture.
Summary: We shopped around for quite a awhile and also looked in to doing a projector in our finished basement and as far as quality picture this was the best choice we wanted to be totally happy with the picture so we were willing to spend we made several trips to several different stores ie SAMs looked at the 80 in ,Best Buy Etc and this was by far the best picture and a good size and the price was great .
Excerpt: I love the size of the tv. It's easy to set up and works great. Great image quality, video games and movies look awesome. It's a Samsung, what else can I say? Two things I don't like: 1-If you use "bunny ears" you cannot manually add a channel. When the tv auto scans channels off the antenna, it will not pick up NBC and I cannot add it manually, which is a huge design flaw in my book.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Energy Efficient, Good Remote Control, Great Picture Quality, LED-backlit
Summary: a little help. Not great unless you set the settings correct. Below, is CNET setttings with my alterations and also a "Dynamic" setting for Low def recordings. All you have to do is swap between dynamic and movie, and the settings will be saved after altering Cnet settings .......................my settings Mode: Movie ...........................................Dynamic Backlight: 15........................ 20............... 13 Contrast: 100.......................
