Summary: This flat screen replaced a 52 inch Sony(1080p) that was given to a son moving into a new apartment. I was looking for the opportunity to upgrade to 4K as well as take advantage of internet capabilities via Smart TV.
Pros: Very flexible with its internet capabilities. The basic remote has a logical layout and is functional. The extra Smart Remote is a nice addition.
Cons: Like most consumers I want lower prices. However, I do believe this product justifies its price point. I am disappointed that a paper copy of the operating manual is not included.
Summary: I have only been using it as a display for my display sources including Verizon FIOS, Panasonic blu ray player, and an Apple TV. I do not intend to use any of the Smart TV functions right now or connect it to the internet. When playing blu ray movies the picture quality is excellent.
Pros: Excellent black levels Rich accurate colors Good speakers Smart remote is easy to use and has good ergonomics
Cons: Accentuates the flaws of poor quality content (for example the picture from my Verizon FIOS box looked terrible until I set it to 1080 i in the Video Settings) Off angle viewing (a flaw common with all displays of this type). This not a problem at typical viewing angles or distance. Close up thou...
Summary: This TV's picture is spectacular! The detail and sharpness is truly impressive. It replaces a 51" Hi-Def Samsung Plasma in our Family Room, which has moved to our downstairs Rec Room. The plasma has always impressed me, but this 60" 4K is even better.
Pros: Picture quality, picture quality, and did I mention picture quality?! Upscaling from Blu-Ray is very good. Versatility with "Smart" features.
Cons: Relatively narrow viewing angle (especially compared to a plasma); fixed screen on base (cannot be swiveled); no printed manual. Limited 4K material. The blacks are not as deep as with my plasma. Sound quality is only fair, though we nearly always play through our AV receiver.
Summary: Cant use my laptop via hdmi. Says you can... TV promps you to do so. However, this TV will NOT recognize your laptop. I have Samsung 32 inch 1080p four years old, and it recognizes my laptop. What's up Samsung? My guess is Samsung want's you to use the installed apps or browzer.
Summary: There seems to be a manufacturing issue with this television. After going through two of these, I decided to just look for something else. The first set had vertical "branding" on the right side of the screen. It wasn't really noticeable at first, but it became very clear when watching a 3D movie.
This is no doubt a great TV. Native 4K content is jaw dropping

Summary: This is no doubt a great TV. Native 4K content is jaw dropping. With native 1080p content, depending on the quality, I can tell a slight improvement from the upscaling. Otherwise, there is not much of a difference especially with SD content. The smart hub is quick and all the features are very nice.
Summary: very expensive, but it replaced a 13-year old TV, and I splurged since my wife may not let me replace this one for another 13 years. I have a wife and two daughters (11 and 6)---we all are absolutely in love with this TV. Even if we hadn't upgraded from a non-HD TV, we would still be in love.
Pros: smart remote will also "learn" to control your cable box functions everything on this TV is incredible
Cons: stand seems strong, but you still feel a bit insecure
