Summary: I have a Samsung phone and a Samsung laptop, neither have ever had any issues and they've been awesome. However, I received delivery of the TV on Saturday and by Monday it no longer worked. It won't turn on at all. We've tried resetting it, unplugging it, different outlets (everything works fine on the outlet we were using) and all the other troubleshooting tips.
Summary: We've been using this TV for a few months now and have been very happy with it. The picture is very crisp and clear, HD and BlueRay look amazing. The sound quality is decent and it looks so good hanging over our fireplace. Great TV at what we consider an affordable price. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or buy another.

Summary: UPDATE: Samsung repair happened and was relatively painless. They replaced the panel with a new one... no more green line. I have since noticed that there is an area of uneven backlighting (a band running from the top to the bottom of the screen that is lighter than the rest of the screen). Trying to determine how annoying this actually is before calling Samsung again to set up yet another repair appointment. Not particularly thrilled at the moment.
Summary: Color levels are excellent. Black levels are horrible. Back-light has very noticeable white patches around screen in dark scenes or letterbox type formats. Lots of nice apps. I made the mistake of not spending the extra money for the 7000 or 8000 series.
