Summary: Doesn't last long. Had my tv for just over 2 years and it's already done with. My screen is covered with horizontal lines, and it displays doubles of the picture (I guess kind of a ghosting effect). For the price of the TV, it should last much longer. I'm just going to skip the trouble of messing with Samsung, and probably buy a different brand TV... While using the TV in working condition, the picture is good.
Summary: We've had this for about a year and it's been great. It works like a charm. Great picture, ridiculously thin, and we love the integration of Pandora/Hulu/Netflix/HBOGo etc. through the SmartTV feature. We also got a wonderful deal through Amazon. Our biggest complaint is just that the SmartTV navigation can seem a bit sluggish at times and it takes ~ 30 seconds to 1 minute to go from turning on the TV to watching something on Hulu or Netflix.
Summary: This Samsung UN60D6000 60 inch tv was purchased recently, and has a manufacture date of November 2011. Yet it now wont turn on and has a clicking sound. Has anyone experienced this problem? I live overseas, so the cost to ship back to the USA is really high even though its still under warranty. Did anyone have the problem and had it resolved from a technician of the country which you reside (not USA)? Please share what the technician may have shared as the problem.
Summary: We bought it on November 25th, 2011 from BestBuy. The good thing was that we also bought an extended BestBuy warranty. After about 8 months we noticed a vertical green line on the right side of the screen. We called BestBuy and a technician came to take a look. His recommendation was to replace the panel. So they did. The new panel lasted exactly 36 hours, and a new green line appeared. The panel was replaced for the second time.
Summary: I looked at a lot of big screens before buying this set. In every case, it had the best picture of any in the stores I went to. My personal preference is LED over plasma, mostly because I like the brightness of LED better than how plasmas look. I've had it on the wall for about two weeks now and have been using it with several different kinds of sources.
Summary: I purchased this TV over the 2011 Black Friday week from Amazon in November. After several months of use, and tweaking the settings, I'm very happy with this TV. At first, the TV had one issue that bothered me quite a bit. When watching normal TV, it seemed that the picture would judder...and this was not during fast action scenes or anything like that. This was during sit-coms when a person was just moving around.
Summary: We shopped everywhere for a TV for my parents who just moved and bought a new house. We have a 46-inch LCD Samsung which we bought years before and LOVE it. This 60-inch LED Samsung is a fantastic TV. The picture is incredible and the look is very sleek. Samsung consistently has the best TV's on the market and this one is a perfect example of why. LOVE this TV!
