Not even 18 months!

  • Summary: For the first time I bought a Samsung product after a lifetime of using Sony. I bought this unit in May 2011 and in less than 18 months use as a secondary unit it has failed! The power keeps going on and off and Samsung says that the only thing that can be done is to have it serviced?

  • Summary: Bought this TV from another retailer in August 2011. On the last day of August 2014 the TV developed severe black horizontal lines across the entire screen, significant light bleed on the right side, and the upper half of the screen flickers light, dark, or off entirely.

Great tv until it wasn't

  • Summary: Loved the tv for 2 years. It started clicking on and off, only way to stop it was to unplug it. Called repair company $100, paid total of $376 for a new power board installed. Worked for a little while and started doing again.

  • Summary: I purchased this TV just 2years and 8 months ago. I especially liked how thin and light the TV was. Initially, lots of good things to say. However, just like all the others here, I was watching the TV, I got a double image for about one minute and then it went black.

Really surprised by this poor product

  • Summary: I purchased this unit for our game room knowing it would have limited use for about the first 12 months. Moved to MBR during spring and the set just started not showing a picture. Appears to be a bulb". Called Company, all agreed that appears to be a bulb???

  • Summary: How can Samsung let something like this go to market? Thinking that I got a bad unit and that this can always happen when machines are concerned I went through two exchanges of this so called "Smart TV". Ghosting, Flash-lighting, light leaks, uneven screen uniformity; you name it this TV has it all.

  • Summary: I got this TV less then 2 years ago and it has been fantastic. Great picture, sound and features (love the Internet enabled features but disappointed that you had to buy a wifi adapter for it; that should have been built in). However at less than 2 years old it broke.

Defective product

  • Summary: I have owned the TV for 18 months and it has a thin blue line down the right edge of the TV. It only has a 12 month warranty so it is out of warranty. Needless to say I am not happy. When the TV didn't have the blue line the TV was great.

Don't buy this TV

  • Summary: Don't buy this TV! This TV had and I stress HAD a beautiful picture and after 19 mos there's no picture. We went online with Samsung and did some troubleshooting, etc.......no warranty after a year and we are out of luck. So we are hauling it off to be looked at......may not be pretty.
