Summary: The Samsung UN55B7100 is such a quantum leap over — not your Dad's old Trinitron, no — your own big-buck flat panel TV from just 2-3 years ago that it's hard to fathom without actually seeing it. With an involving, well-produced movie in real 1080p format, this Samsung will draw you into the magic of movies like never before at home. Even "ordinary" 1080i HD broadcast material shows better with the Samsung excellent video processing.
Samsung 55-inch Ultra-Slim UN55B7100 1080p LED LCD HDTV Review

Conclusion: I really like the Samsung UN55B7100, truth be told it’s almost perfect. There so many things going for this HDTV such as its feature packed Media Player abilities (play up to 1080p movies off your USB stick, play MP3’s and view photos) and pre-installed content which includes food recipes, high-resolution gallery of images and wellness instructions (fitness). All of these things are done superbly well.
Pros: Almost plasma-like, Contrast and brightness are blindingly bright!, Picture quality, Color reproduction much improved, Can play HD videos of just about all codec’s on the HDTV!, Content includes magnificent cooking recipes, wellness training, art and more!, Super thin at 2.99cm!, Lightweight compared to others at the same screen size, Beautiful design, Pebble-shaped remote is useful, Save money because it uses LED’s
Cons: Clouding issues, Viewing angle needs work, Stuttering issue on this sampleUN55B7100, No singal strength meter
Conclusion: Samsung is one of those companies that very rarely miss the mark with their high-end TVs and their expertise in pushing out high quality products is nearly unmatched in my eyes. Naturally, there is a sudden drop in performance as you go into the lower price ranges but if you are a discerning customer, a Samsung TV is usually a safe bet.
