I dont get it. While looking at these today I see the 6400 model selling for less than the 6000 .. nothing reasonable about that .. why would I pay more for the lower grade model? Read more

I got a double image on my screen and when I took it to the repair shop, I was told that the back panel had to be replaced and that the cost would be 1036 dollars! I paid $2000 for the TV so I decide to buy another TV (Sony). I never intend to buy a Samsung product again. I got an extended warranty on the new TV, just in case. Read more

The TV looks excellent hanging on top of the fireplace. With the ultra slim wallmount, it is < 2" from the wall. It is in a very bright living room with lots of natural light and glare is not a problem even though it has a glossy finish. The Blue-Rays and HD Satellite receiver makes the picture "jaw-dropping". It has very limited connectivity to non-HD devices, so use it only with HD components, if you can. Read more

I took it back and got a Panasonic 58S1 plasma for $800 less and so far have been very happy. I would recommend the LG Full LED 240Hz model which is usually cheaper over this one. It's not a bad TV, I just had a bad experience with it. I feel that gaming is a lot smoother on a Plasma. Read more

    • Very thin, great picture, decent price.
    • 1. After 8 days of use, the TV screen went completely white, it would come back for a few minutes, then go out again.
  5. Great Television!

Overall this is a great TV. It should meet all the expectations of the average user. I am sure some TV Geek could pick it apart. Great looking housing. Sleek design. Amazing contrast. The white hues can be on the darker scale at times. I have always had Samsung televisions so the user menu was easy to use from my standpoint. If you are new to Samsung televisions getting use to the set up might have a small learning curve. Read more
