Summary: This is a great TV. However the Samsung software makes it a cruddy device to connect to the internet. Save the money on the "SMART" technology and buy a regular TV. If you want to connect to the internet use something (anything) else to stream the video to the TV.
Pros: I bought two of these to replace old TVs and I went with SMART technology so I could watch Youtube on the TV. I found the price on these was just too good to pass up. Samsung integrates well between devices and these TVs may be controlled by my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4. Set up was simple and the cont...
Cons: The hardware is reasonably sound (I have owned these for about 6 months) and while I wouldn't use these for gaming due to the low cycle rate, is acceptable for TV. The software STINKS. Samsung is constantly nagging us to update this or review that with nasty little popups on the top of the screen...
Summary: I bought the Samsung TV and the Backlight went out on it after a year. Just out of warranty and Samsung says "Sorry, nothing we can do". The part to repair the TV costs the same as buying a new one. STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG TVs!
Summary: I work as a tech for a support company. A) the quality level of the software on this tv is F-, B) the support staff should be in shame at how they treat you. C) does anyone use American support anymore, I'm sick of the language barrier and deciphering my voicemail for 5 minutes before realizing my...
Pros: none, maybe picture quality?
Cons: this tv is horrible, support is garbage as well. I first purchased this and tried to use netflix, had to wait while the TV was preparing, this takes over 3 minutes usually. Sometimes netflix will work sometimes it won't. Tech support is non existant, or when they do call you they call 1x leave a ...
Summary: In summary, great TV, not a great monitor. Not suitable for a main monitor, but decent for an extra monitor.
Pros: Great price, lots of options, lots of connections, full 1080 HD. Games look pretty good, and video (using MPC) looks great.
Cons: I purchased two of these to use in a dual screen setup. I hooked on up using Displayport with my HP zR2740w and my Dell 2707WFP. Next to those two the text appeared unreadable, and using MS Excel or Word for more than 30 minutes gave me a headache.
Summary: Being able to watch basic cable, plus all the apps you get with this beauty, it's amazing! Maybe I'm just stoked because this is the first nice TV our household has ever upgraded to, but we are enjoying this TV and it's awesome specs.
Summary: We were excited to order this TV online and have it delivered directly to our home. However, when we opened the box, we realized that the TV was damaged. How disappointing! Needless to say, we had to return the damaged product and now we will be shopping for another TV.
Summary: The picture quality is wonderful but I replaced my 55 inch Samsung flat screen with this 50 inch Samsung smart tv and I am very disappointed in the screen size ratio they are giving with this new smart tv. You would think I had lost at least 10 to 15 inches of viewable screen.
